Conservation
We provide a broad range of conservation treatments including consultation, condition reporting, and transportation of sensitive objects. Every treatment given at the Nós Conservation studio is governed by respect for, and a desire to protect the historical integrity of the object. The principles of preventive conservation, reversibility and minimal intervention are strictly adhered to. A condition report and treatment proposal is provided with each commission, and research is conducted where requested or necessary. All objects are returned with a full treatment report on request.
Design and Manufacture.
We also provide a furniture design and manufacture service. We will guide you through the design process to create unique custom built bespoke furniture or joinery to compliment or suit any interior. A full collection and delivery service is available so that we can guarantee professional and sensitive handling of your objects throughout the process.
